Inventory Setup table Issue

Dear Experts:

I have a weird issue with the inventory setup table, when the staff in our company work with packages to change sale price or adding the items for transfer order purpose by importing excel file.

The field automatic cost posting is changing true to false, false to true (both), or sometimes true to false only.

Why this happens? what is the relation?


I am wondering!

    Emmm, this is really a problem, and there is probably nothing the developer can do about it without being able to have this happen 100% of the time.
    I think we can at least ask the developer to confirm the code, such as exporting the transfer order table, page, and search the Automatic Cost Posting field to see if there is code that affects this.

    Hope this can give you some hints.

    My big problem is that this rarely happens, so hw to know when to happen to do a debug!

    Hi, It is really strange, maybe there is this code in the Validate trigger of which field or the trigger of the table. But I checked table 5740 "Transfer Header" and table 5741 "Transfer Line" and there is no problem.
    I recommend asking a developer to debug, on which line of code this was modified. This allows the cause to be found quickly.
