Customer Templates changed

I have a client that uses Dynamics 365 business Central and when they go to create a new customer, it pulls up their pre-made customer templates but instead of clicking on Description like they used to, they have to click on the template number.

When the card comes up, it shows OTHER10000 for the Customer No.  instead of the names they have in the template.

Has anyone run into this?

Thank you

    RE: Customer Templates changed

    Hello,

In V19 the Template functionality changed from the old Customer Templates to Configuration Templates.

The No. Series is based on the No. Series setup you did.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Hi,

Some of our clients are recently reporting some variations in their customer templates. To adjust enter customer templates. You will probably see that the original customer templates have been redefined. Enter the edit and delete buttons to readjust your default templates (description, name, posting groups) and you should be good.

Let me know if this helps

Hi, this is Select a template for a new customer page, you can click Code directly, or click OK below to select a template. I don't think this is a problem.

If you have any questions about the automatically obtained Customer No., first you need to check the Customer Nos. set in Sales & Receivables Setup.

The go to check the No. Series on the customer template you selected.

What is the number series in the template? The value mentioned isn’t the code of the template? Your description read like that:
