Hi,
I'm learning about the funcionality to transfer project budget amount to ledger budget in D365FO, and I have some questions:
1) Can i transfer my project budget amounts into an existing legder budget?
2) I see that the funcionality is in the project FORECAST and not in the project budget...we need to create the forecast also? Or the forecast are created automatically with the project budget approved?

For No 1:
The project budget as a special project budget type in the budgeting module. So, you can transfer the amounts from the project module but the system will especially classify them.
For No 2:
The terms forecast and budget are used often in a similar way. What you actually transfer to the budgeting module from the project module is a specific forecast and not the amounts that you can find in the project budget form. This might sound a bit confusing but has historical reasons how this was build over the years. I would suggest that you do some testing in a demo/test environment with the project forecasts and see how they end up in the budgeting module. Things should become clear then.

I was referring to the 'copy forecast to ledger' functionality that you can find at the project in the plan tab.
