Deleting CRM Solutions ?

Hi,

I am a bit confused on how the solutions work in Dynamic CRM.

If I delete a solution, does it just delete the solution itself and does not have any impact to the data? For instance, if I imported and published a solution that contains a Product form. The product form is now updated with the form in the solution.

So if I delete this solution in CRM, does this then take away the product form which has already been published too?

One more thing is (Ref :msdn)When you uninstall a managed solution, the following data is lost: data stored in custom entities that are part of the solution and data stored in custom attributes on system entities that are part of the solution.
To delete old cmponents from Managed Solution ,here is a nice blog https://community.dynamics.com/crm/b/crmthinkdynamics/archive/2014/09/25/how-to-delete-an-old-component-from-your-managed-solution-in-crm-2011-2013
