Does the 'sa' account have this problem? If not, try running the GRANT.SQL script against your company database. You will find this in your C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics\GP\Utils folder on your server.
Thanks Richard... I was able to fix it by upgrading the GP to GP2010 SP1
That would do it too, because during the upgrade process the GRANT.SQL script gets run. Glad to hear all is working.
Hi Richard,
I have a requirement to create a test environment similar to my live environment, so i have installed the GP and then i have restored the databases frommy live environment and restored it in test environment.
AFter that when i open GP i'm getting below error
Unhandled database exception:
A get/change operation on table 'ASI_MSTR_Explorer_Favorites' failed accessing SQL data.
Number of results columns doesnt match table definition.
EXCEPTION_CLASS_DB
DB_ERR_SQL_DATA_ACCESS_ERR
Here , i have run the GRANT.sql script against all my companies but still the issue is not solved.
and im getting this error in "sa" account.
also, i have reconfigured the ODBC DSN aswell, but no luck.
Any suggestions on this?
