Hello,

I submit a forecast and budget to Business Central a couple times a year and track actual performance against it.

Recently I've created cost centers to improve our cost tracking/monitoring.

Is it possible to upload a G/L budget using the ShortCut Dimension3 (which is what I've assigned to as Cost Center)? I have never done this before.

Hi, You can define the Dimensions you need when creating Budget, and then set the Dimension value you need when entering G/L Budget Entries.

Dimension analysis is always a good choice, but if they have properly managed in the system, so in that case while defining Budgeting in the system, Define the dimensions.
