I have a workflow I created as an on demand workflow.
It changes some states and some fields. Which all works fine.
But there are some fields that for some reason I can't edit in the workflow properties dialog?
Was just wondering why.
At first I thought because the field was read only? But I changed it to not read only, saved/published...
And still couldn't edit it.
The field I want to change is an option set.
Is that why? But I can change other option set fields?
Is there a list of what can be set using a workflow or rules for it?
Thanks,
Terry
Good to Know, thank you for the tip.
@Mehdi,
This is the historical thing. For some reason Microsoft block fields with attached handlers for workflows and for bulk editing. I don't know the reason but I know how to fix it :)
Unless... does PowerApps count as an event handler? I have some javascript that opens a dialog PowerApp that sets this field?
Terry
Thanks. It isn't a multi select just a regular option set. Choose one.
Also no event handlers attached to this particular field.
Thanks,
Terry
Hi Andrew,
I can't understand why an attached event handler may be the problem. Can you please explain ? Thank you
Hello Terry,
Check if this field has event handlers attached. If it is - remove handler, save an publish, refresh workflow, field should be enabled, do whatever you need in workflow, save and publish, go back to entity form, reattach handler.
Hi,
Can you please check if the field is a MultiOptionSet.
There is some limitations about this field type.
