Dynamics SL on Windows7

Hi,

 I just saw that Microsoft said that all Dynamics ERP products would be able to support Windows 7 when its offically released on the 22nd. However I don't see any hotfix or anything like that for the client installation (Or any other information other then it works now). Are there any extra steps to install a Dynamics SL client on Windows 7.

    AFAIK, the versions of DSL that will run on Win7 are 6.5SP3 and 7.0FP1. Only 7.0FP1 is supported to run on Win7 64Bit.

    Your saying that Dynamics SL 6.5sp3 and SL7.0FP1 are the only editions that will run on Windows 7. What about SL7 SP1 and SP2?

     Also have you installed Crystal Reports or FRx on Windows 7?

    We have had DSL 7.0 SP1 and 7.0 FP1 running on Server 2008 64bit for over a year.  Server 2008 is the same kernal as windows 7.  Crystal reports run fine.

    We are running 2 terminal servers (server 2008 64bit) so all the clients run on a server.

    I think I can answer that part.  Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7, from what I have herd, are built off the same kernal. Since Dwight can run the clients on the 2008 server we should be able to run the clients on the Windows 7 OS(64 or 32 bit). I have recently tested on a couple machine's here and I am able to run SL7 FP1 on Windows 7 32bit and 64 bit operating systems. Also FRx and Crystal reports are running on these machines without issue.
