Excel refreshable report - with multiple tabs?

I've got an Excel refreshable report with code from SQL that dumps all the sales transactions (line items) .  Is it possible to get this report to create a tab for each customer partner code (national account)?  In the end, it would be one Excel spreadsheet with many tabs - one for each partner and showing all the customers linked to that partner with sales info.

I think you would need to create a data connection for each tab.  You could just copy the data connection and then add a parameter for each partner code.  It would depend on how many you would need as to how feasible that solution would be.

That's a thought.  However, I'd have to keep watching to see if new partner codes are added.  I want to make this a user-friendly report without constant IT intervention

Deanne, we had to provide a report similar to this in nature for another client some time back and we were only able to do as Heather suggested - and that was to create a report / data connection for each of the customer IDs.

It was a bit time consuming, but in the end it worked out well for the client.

The only other option would be to consider a custom SSRS report that publishes the details and is sorted by customer group.

The first option is something that you are likely able to due with some simple SQL, the SSRS is a bit more complicated and you might need to get someone external to write and implement this for you.

Good luck and hope this helps.
