Business Rule for a Contact Field based off an Account Field's data

I think this might not be possible, but wanted to ask before I give up. I would like to make a business rule hides or shows a multiset option based off an answer given in the contacts company. I can only see options for rules in each environment (Contacts or Accounts) separately.

In more detail: For us, an Account has a Field for Facility Type (clinic, retail, distributor) If the Account is listed as a distributor, I want to have a Field visible under the Contacts attached to the Account labeled Territory so we can identify what distributor contacts are in what territory.

Hi Jason ,

Business rules does not support multiple entity fields in condition .In this case you implement your logic with Javascript.

Hi Jason,

We cannot hide and show field based on the field value of a related entity in the business rule. For achieving this functionality, you could write a JavaScript code which fetches the related entity data and does the corresponding manipulations.

Hi,

Business rules works based on the fields from the same entity, so you need to go for JavaScript to implement this validation.
