Unable to view imported custom workspaces

Running the following version
Installed product version : 10.0.34 (10.0.1591.76)Installed platform version : Update58 (7.0.6931.84
 
Right now unable to view imported custom workspaces. Process goes through w/out any issue but users are unable to view. This was working about a month ago.  If i check under personalization, I do see the workspaces listed there under the new user it was just imported from. It is just not visible on dashboard.  Has anyone else experienced this?

    I found this issue also and couldn't resolve via the Export/Import function. This functionality may have changed as I did find a way to share the workspace via Saved views/Publishing
     
    When a user has created a workspace to share, you must save the view before publishing.
     
    I published a workspace from a specified role, so published to the System user role. I then could see the shared workspace on my admin account.
     
    N.B If publishing a workspace to additional roles, they must also have the views within the workspace (tiles + links) published to their role. 
     
    However Data lists don't appear to update correctly when published, which I can't seem to resolve.

    Thank you so much for your response. The person importing these customized views are sysadmins, including myself so I don't think workspace role assignment is the issue.  When there was a problem with that, you got a notification when importing that the user was missing access.  We did try clearing the cache and that did not work. In addition, under my account, I created a customized workspace, then exported it. I then removed it from my dashboard, refreshed the screen, then tried to import the workspace. Again, it seemed successful but I was not able to view my own custom workspace. Under personalization - personal views I was able to see the item.  That is the screenshot I included in my original note above.  We did some additional testing and this works in one of our sandboxed environments, just not in our production environment.

    Hi,
    Depending on the problem you described, it seems that you have a problem with personalization, and you can refer to this document: Saved views - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn.
    Here are a few ways I can troubleshoot the issue:
    • Check workspace role assignments: Ensure that the workspaces are correctly assigned to the users and user roles. Review the settings for the users and user roles to ensure that the workspaces are within their scope of permissions.
    • Clear cache: Try clearing the browser cache and the local cache of the Dynamics 365 client. Sometimes, caching can cause issues with the display of workspaces.
    • Reimport workspaces: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may need to reimport the custom workspaces. Make sure to follow the correct import process and pay attention to any error messages that may occur during the import. After reimporting, check the visibility settings and permissions again to ensure that everything is set up correctly. You can refer to this document: Personalize the user experience - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn.
