I am having very annoying errors using the new Toggle Control that replaces the Flip Switch.

The problem:
Business rules to lock this field conditionally do not work. When changing to the option that should lock those fields, the lock symbols show up but you still can change the value.
I have spent 90 minutes to get a simple toggle to work - the worst thing is that I can't properly finish this because there seems to be a bug in the control.
Any suggestions how to avoid this?
