Cannot advance Business Process Flow to next stage - just started.

We have a pretty simple BPF on a custom entity. Up until this morning, users were able to advance it to the next stage by clicking "Next Stage". Now, the "Next Stage" button appears, but nothing happens.

Anyone else having similar issues? We have not done any customizations to our system in over a week and can confirm everything was working correctly 48 hours ago.
