Data Import Export (Checklists)

Hello Community,

I was recently trying to Export some Checklists related (Onboarding, offboarding, Transition) data from Talent and then Importing that same data into D365 F&O, since we will be moving the client from Talent to Fin & Ops, however, I have noticed that some of the columns do not match and it causes a hassle when importing the data into D365 F&O.

I want to have an idea why is this happening, and how to get round past this problem so that we can move forward in Exporting and Importing just as the data is.

Attaching the screenshots below for reference:

A) When I check the Onboarding tasks screen to export the data (from Talent):

I then download the the 'Onboarding library task' to export the data through Excel Add in and it gives me the following options, but the main option of 'Task Group' is missing out' from the columns

Similarly, the same thing happens when I try to Export the data from the Exporting option in System Administration (Importing to D365 F&O).

- Moreover, even if I try to add the 'Task Group' column manually in the Excel add in and then Import the data in D365 F&O, it will show the 'Task Group' column but it still does not bring that imported data into the app.

Please guide me on how to go about it, and that the data appears without going through a hassle of manually adding data one by one.

Looking forward to hearing back from the community.

    Hi partner,

Only the public fields in the entity will appear in Excel when exported or open.

When you open the entity in excel , can you filter the fields?
