Learning Paths Localization

Posted on by

Hi everyone,

I am configuring the learning paths for my client, and right now facing an issue with the localization function. As they have instances in multiple countries, but one tenant, all the learning paths are shared in the draft environment, so we thought it was a good opportunity for all the countries to be able to use the existing content created by other and localize it.

But the issue is that once the localization file is downloaded what is the expected process in order to get it ready for import with the new translations for the same content?

Did anyone ever work with localization of learning paths and can share best practices?

If something isn't clear or you have more questions, please reach out!

Thanks a lot

    Sorry, I may have misunderstood your question.

    I have never used it, but thought that you just need to edit XML as explained in the link I shared. Something like that:

    <xliff srcLang="en-US" trgLang="nb-NO" version="2.0" xmlns="urn:oasis:names:tc:xliff:document:2.0">
    <file id="2146528a-90a3-474b-b130-af461473f201">
    <unit id="2146528a-90a3-474b-b130-af461473f201">

     <unit id="1">

      <segment>

       <source>Some text</source>

       <target>Noe tekst</target>

    and then import this file. But as I said I never used it(yet).

    Hello Lema, I already checked that out in the beginning of my research, but that still doesn't say anything about the actual act of localization after the export.
