Error Printing Container contents report

Hi All -

When printing the container contents report, right after clicking on the link.  The following message is shown (before you do anything with print management).  The error is not blocking and the report displays fine.  Version: 10.0.20 (10.0.886.107). There is an address populated for the site. Have modified it/changed purposes, etc.

Error: We couldn't generate the container contents report because no address is set for the site connected to the shipment associated with the selected container.

Happy to learn how I can debug further. Thanks in advance!

    Hello Jake,

    Greetings!!

    Hope you are doing good.

During my quick search, I notice that there is a similar issue reported with us and at the moment it is under investigation stage.

Please find the description of the problem which is reported with us.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Problem statement:

After install the latest upgrade: 10.0.886.102, the container contents report are generating error message for no reason. Although the report are printed, but the error is very annoying to user due to the bad code in the WHSContainerContentsController class, logisticsPostalAdddressMessage method.

    The line "logisticsLocation  = LogisticsLocation::findByLocationId(shipmentTable.InventSiteId);"

does not find a location because it is passing a site id, not a location id.

    Error message:

We couldn't generate the container contents report because no address is set for the site connected to the shipment associated with the selected container.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The above problem is being addressed with Bug ID - 611447.

    Note:

At the moment bug ID is not visible over LCS and shortly this will be made available.

If the above information helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.
