Deferral template custom start date

Is there a way to create a custom start date for a deferral template? I only have the following:

Posting date

Beginning of period

End of period

Beginning of next period

Beginning of next calendar year

I want to post the invoice in December, but have it start amortizing in March of the next calendar year for 12 months.
