    Hello,

There is no standard function to change any sub-ledger dimension value at the moment.
Your best bet is to create a codeunit to update them though it is not recommended unless you are aware of other related entries such as Value Entries.

No, the dimension change tool only works for G/L entries.

To change them on other tables, You would need to develop a report, that could do that.

Currently, in Business Central, it is not possible to directly change the dimension values on Item Ledger Entries, once they are posted, unlike the G/L Entry Dimension Corrections feature available for General Ledger (G/L) entries. This limitation exists because dimensions in ILEs are tightly integrated with item cost, value entries, and inventory postings, which are affected across multiple tables and transactions.

Post an Item Journal Entry to adjust inventory by reducing the quantity of the item with the incorrect dimensions and adding a new entry with the correct dimensions.
Or Use the Item Reclassification Journal to transfer the item to another location, batch, or with updated dimensions. This creates a new entry with the desired dimensions, essentially moving inventory from one set of dimensions to another.

    Hi
You could rely on a third-party application, check and see if one of them fits your requirements.

As mentioned its not possible, the best way would be to reverse and recreate the transaction or use the item reclass. journal to fix the dimensions. Or get a developer to create a processing report to fix the incorrect dimensions.

Hi, As several other experts have mentioned, this cannot be done in the standard. In addition, even the G/L Entry Dimension corrections feature is risky.

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.
