Multiple Shipments from Same Customer on same day

I want multiple shipments to be shipped in one shipment to the same customer to save on shipping costs. What would be the logic for such a scenario so that we can apply it in our D365 FO system? Users should be able to ship all multiple shipments from different dates in one shipment to save the customer's shipping costs. I want to know how you going to design on functional end so that whole logic works and my problem solves as well.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
You can refer to these official documents: Consolidate shipments manually by using the Consolidate shipments page - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn, Consolidate multiple shipments into a load | Microsoft LearnThese topics describe how to consolidate multiple shipments into one load. If the standard features do not meet your needs, you may consider designing the features yourself, here are the points to consider: Identify shipments that can be shipped to the same customer. This logic should take into account factors such as customer information, delivery dates, and shipping details. You need to create a process that allows users to select multiple shipments to consolidate. Calculate shipping costs for consolidated shipments. This calculation should take into account the weight, volume, etc., of the goods shipped. Generate appropriate labels for consolidated shipments. This includes packing lists, shipping labels, and so on. Finally, track the actual shipment of consolidated orders.
    Best regards,
    Kevin

    Hi

You'd need to be using the Warehouse management module to get F&O to help with this, and since you are referring to Shipments I'm gonna assume you are.

I suggest having a look at Shipment consolidation policies. This will allow you to group multiple Sales orders on to a single shipment. It has some limitations, but I think answers your general request.

P.S. this sort of question probably best of posted to the Supply Chain Management forum!
