I have a report that has multiple groups and subgroups and I have enabled the toggle in report but it's not working in BC.The report appears to be non-interactive when it's run in BC reportviewer.However, if we export it to excel, the toggle is there. The exact same RDLC layout works for NAV windows client reportviewer and I can toggle the groups but it does not work in Business Central reportviewer. I read somewhere that BC reportviewer does not support Toggle item. If that's true, is there any workaround?

That is correct. You do not have the HTML renderer in the Web Client.
You might think of creating a PowerBI report instead or instruct users to export to excel if they need to use this feature.
