What is the exact reason we get this error while Posting item journal; or sending email receipt to customer?
it looks email account setting correct.

this error comes up when
1. cash receipt journal
2. send e-receipt
a dialog box open with email id picked - when we try to send ,error raised.

it's custom functionality to send mail from Item Journal, also can you please check with your development partner from where they pick customer e-mail account from card or from document layout page.

Please do the debug once, it will help you understand the problem.
test email and other email we send automatic all works fine. the issue seems only wen i try to send e- receipt to customer
no customer code. it looks standard error.

What happens if you try to send a test e-mail from that setup?

You need to check if you have setup the Email accounts or is there any customization done, otherwise debug will help you on this.
