I would like to add simple formula into numerical fields on a form. Example: I would like to type 14 * 6.65 and have the form enter "93.1" (as in Excel if I would type =14*6.65). Can this be done?
Thanks
Andreas
Hi Andreas,
you should be able to achieve this by using Excel for data input.
UPDATE: Ah - almost forgot - if you enable the "New grid" feature, you can use formulas in numeric fields: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365-release-plan/2020wave2/finance-operations/finance-operations-crossapp-capabilities/new-grid-control--general-availability
Nikolaos provided the correct answer. With the new grid, the calculations are supported. The link he provided is broken; not sure why...
Here is another link with the details: docs.microsoft.com/.../grid-capabilities
You can enable the new grid control via the Feature Management workspace (tab 'Not enabled' or 'All').
Yeah, with new grid feature, you can realize this. Refer this docs.microsoft.com/.../grid-capabilities
