Trial Event page not working

Hi all,

I've created a trial environment and I want to create an event (for showing how it could look).

But when I press live this note comes up:

"no local Dynamics 365 Portals or Power Portal is available, whick means you must host the event website on an external server if you want to provide it. For details see https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=2085798.

How can I create an event like this:

In the trial environment?

    Hi Filippa,

    The statement –

    “Marketing trials can't be integrated with a Power Apps portal. Instead, they provide a special mechanism that lets you try out landing pages, forms, the event website, and other interactive features without requiring a Power Apps portal or external CMS system.”

    can be found in the following official documentation:

    Sign up for and install a free trial (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Docs

     

    So you have to host the event on a website or an external server.

    Hi!

    Thank you for helping me out!

    So if you want to show a potential client, you can not show the event landing page/registration page?

    Is this something the new update took away becuase I have been able to do it before...

    Hi Filippa,

    No, the portal has always been unavailable on trial versions, but if there is only one event, go live operations can be performed directly.

    Hi Nya,

    But hasn't it been another solution instead of portals? A college of mine says that he has been creating event pages in trial before with the help of something else that wasn't portals either. :)

    Hi Filippa,

    You can download sample angular event website files from:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/developer/event-management-web-application#download-sample-event-website

    Then follow the following documentation to run the event website and compile whole app into an output directory.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/developer/self-hosted
