Hi,
What's the best practice in terms of setting up a B2B2C account structure. Our ERP and our invoices customers are B2B, yet an important part of the CRM will be tracking and supporting our B2C business.
The main goal should be that the B2C customers are linked to the B2B customers. They both share pretty much the same fields/data, but one should be easily connected to one another. Especially because we have separate teams working on both areas and it will be critical to see data from one point of view to another.
Setting up everything under the same Accounts entity, I' afraid will clutter both types of accounts.
Duplicating accounts into accounts (B2B) & business_parters (B2C) or something, might make it harder to manage all aspects like opportunities, contacts, leads ... (however, I'm thinking making a simple related field to business_partners in opportunities, contacts etc might simply do the trick).
Anyway, any best practices out there?
Regards,
Christopher
