How do I create/run a consolidated Z report?

We have a customer who finds the Z report to be very useful , they would like to be able to run a Z report for a particular date range, in this case the whole year. So they Z report would actually be a computation of all of the batches in the given date range. I checked the available XML templates on partnersource but none applied. Has anyone else had this request? Any ideas on modifying the standard x/z template to accommodate this request?

I wrote one in access that adds all the registers together and also can connect to multiple stores.

Choose store and date range.

Sorry to sell on this forum, but I think it could be a useful tool to many people.
