To generate a report that shows the customer, sales order (SO) number, SO date, item number, quantity ordered, and dollar amount for each item sold, you can create a custom report in Dynamics 365 Business Central. Here are the steps:
Go to the "Sales Order" page in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Click on the "Navigate" button in the ribbon, then select "Reports" and "Sales - Order Summary."
In the "Sales - Order Summary" report, select the following filters:
"Document Status" = All
"Posting Date" = All
Click on the "Modify Report" button to customize the report.
In the "Modify Report" screen, you will see several tabs. Click on the "Columns" tab.
In the "Columns" tab, add the following columns to the report:
"Customer No."
"Sell-to Customer Name"
"Document No."
"Document Date"
"Item No."
"Quantity"
"Amount"
Click on the "Filters" tab.
In the "Filters" tab, add the following filters to the report:
"Document Type" = Order
"Order Date" = All
Click on the "Preview" button to generate the report.
In the report preview, you will see a list of all the sales orders with the customer, SO number, SO date, item number, quantity ordered, and dollar amount for each item sold.
You can further refine the report by adding additional filters or grouping the data by customer or item, for example, by using the "Modify Report" option.
Once you have customized the report to your liking, you can either print it or export it to a file format such as Excel or PDF for further analysis or sharing with others.
