Sales Reporting with Inventory Item information

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport

Hello,

We've been trying to get sales history data from NAV for a while.  Apparently when this company purchased the software, it was a straight install, no customizations.

I need a report that will show customer, SO number, SO date, item no, qty ordered, $$.  I can't find anything with all of this info.  I can find customer sales info w/totals and inventory info, but nothing that merges the two.

Any ideas?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi TollosBeth

I will suggest you visit experts

    https://globaldata365.com/

    globaldata365.com/.../

    https://globaldata365.com/jet-analytics/

or what I can suggest is

To generate a report that shows the customer, sales order (SO) number, SO date, item number, quantity ordered, and dollar amount for each item sold, you can create a custom report in Dynamics 365 Business Central. Here are the steps:

Go to the "Sales Order" page in Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Click on the "Navigate" button in the ribbon, then select "Reports" and "Sales - Order Summary."

In the "Sales - Order Summary" report, select the following filters:

    "Document Status" = All

    "Posting Date" = All

Click on the "Modify Report" button to customize the report.

In the "Modify Report" screen, you will see several tabs. Click on the "Columns" tab.

In the "Columns" tab, add the following columns to the report:

    "Customer No."

    "Sell-to Customer Name"

    "Document No."

    "Document Date"

    "Item No."

    "Quantity"

    "Amount"

    Click on the "Filters" tab.

In the "Filters" tab, add the following filters to the report:

    "Document Type" = Order

    "Order Date" = All

Click on the "Preview" button to generate the report.

In the report preview, you will see a list of all the sales orders with the customer, SO number, SO date, item number, quantity ordered, and dollar amount for each item sold.

You can further refine the report by adding additional filters or grouping the data by customer or item, for example, by using the "Modify Report" option.

Once you have customized the report to your liking, you can either print it or export it to a file format such as Excel or PDF for further analysis or sharing with others.

Yes!  Will try and get into table format for pivot tables.  This is exactly the info we need.  :D

    Hello,

Here is a sample one but you will need to update in designer for the formulas.  Go here insightsoftware.com/.../

    Thank you,

Thanks Steve!  we do have Jet Reports loaded but when I opened it, it was just an excel spreadsheet.  Guess I'm gonna google how to work it.

Thanks for the suggestion... I didn't know what it was for.

As you can tell, we're flying blind here... small company, no NAV expert.  Yikes!  :D

    Hello,

The combination of fields are not together on a single standard report. However, you can use Jet Reports (I have one close) or Power BI to create the information you need easily. If this is not possible, you create a report that meets your requirements.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
