Making a Field a 'Required Field'

Posted on by 1,750

I currently trying to make a field a 'required field', the problem i am having it that i am under the BRL pack. which does not have Field Level Security nor Modifier with VBA and to acquire these modules we will have to AM & AME.

Can this be done through SQL?

Vaidy is correct, you will need a customisation tool of some sort to make this happen.

If you at least get the customisation site license, then your partner can make the change and send you a package.

    Hi Ozle,

I don't think you would be able to do it from SQL, since the "Required Field" property is completely a DEX way of forcing the Users to enter a value to the concerned field.

You at least need Modifier to get this done.

But you may want to wait till others reply to your query.
