How is the DTA_Reference column populated in DTA10100 table? The DTA reference column I have has 0 at the end and I am wondering how this value is populated.

Thank you guys, Both are very helpful.!!
The DTA Reference column is dependent on DTA_Series column. It is formed by concatenating Document Number and its DocType.
The first part of DTA_Reference, which is Document Number will be fixed to 20 chars. If the document number is less than 20 chars, space character will be filled at the end to make it 20 chars.
The second part of the DTA_Reference, which is Doc Type is different for different DTA_Series.
If DTA_Series is 4 (AP module) or 12 (POP) , then DTA_Reference will have 0 at the end, which you are looking at in your table. The Doc Type is considered as '0' for POP or AP. Otherwise DTA_Reference will end with a valid Document Type value based on the Document Number and its module/series.
Hope this helps.
Hi Bab,
please find the attached link that may guide about the generation of DTA_reference when importing transaction with MDA information.
