One or more organizations can't be upgraded because the version isn't supported for upgrade (Upgrade from 2015 to 2016 on-prem)

I have already applied Update 0.2 to Dynamics CRM 2015 but when upgrading to 2016, I am getting the following error during system check:

"One or more organizations can't be upgraded because the version isn't supported for upgrade. Apply the latest Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 update rollup, and then use Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 Deployment Manager to update each organization. Then, try to upgrade again."

I have tried upgrading without downloading upgrade; by downloading update; update without selecting an organization and by selecting one. Everything results in same error and only error.

Any suggestion to get over this will be appreciated since this is a show stopper for me.

    The reason it did not work was very simple. I had to upgrade all organizations to 2015 before upgrading to 2016.

    I did go through that url and it is more about timing out issue and not my issue, even though it list out my issue. I will double check to make sure but I don't think it covers my case. Thanks for pointing it out though.
