WARNING: Distributions for this transaction contain errors within Integration Manager

We are importing in AP Transactions using Integration Manager. When we integrate we get the following errors on every line:

WARNING: Distributions for this transaction contain errors

BUT all distributions import properly and we are able to post without issue. We are getting by with the warning, but trying to figure out why this message continues to show up.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

It's hard to tell what the problem is with such a vague error. I think something that could help is seeing the log file which might tell you specifically why the integration is failing. Go to integration properties and change the settings to Trace and File. Run the integration and a file should appear where you designated it to go in the settings. Hopefully, it will have a little more information for you.

The next time you do run the integration please post a screen shot of both the transaction entry screen as well as the distribution for the transaction.

Do you get the error on EVERY one of the imported transactions or just some?

If ALL then there is likely an issue with the import process.

If for SOME what we have to do is determine what makes those select one different from the rest.

If the batch still posts, then it is likely an error that if you were trying to enter by hand you would be getting the same warning.  Post those screen shots as they will assist.

    Thanks everyone for your assistance.

I did turn on the trace but it didn't deliver much more helpful information. Thank you for pointing it out to me, however!

Turns out within the IM Destination Setup the Record Source for the Distributions were blank not "Use Default" Once I changed that back we integrated without issue.

Their distribution account information comes from the Vendor so they shouldn't be updated on the AP transactions.

Strange one! Thanks everyone for your responses!
