Pending Data update in Feature management

I activated the Sales price feature in Feature Management but it is displaying this message, and it does not allow me to start using it.

Has anyone come across this before. Could you advise how to get this to activate.

In addition to this, I read that I could run job queue on 2612 object, but i get this:

Job finished executing.
Status: Error
Error: Record(472) is not compatible with Codeunit.Run(Record(2610)).

FYI - I ran a job queue entry on object 2614 - this seems to have added a database update function which wasnt there before to feature management. I rant that and it worked

You can try one thing for that"
There is an option in feature management in the top name as "Data Update". If you can't see that then use the Design to bring the field in the top. After using that you can use this Feature.

Yes, this should be a failure during data transfer. Re-running should solve this problem.
And please try to execute it during non-working hours.

I got the same error. To update it, run the process again by closing BC and enabling for all users.

Hi Debbie

That “Pending Data Update” message usually means the system hasn’t finished converting your existing price data to the new format yet. Activating the feature alone isn’t enough you need to run the data update process to complete the setup

Here’s what you can try

Go to the Feature Management page

Look for the Sales Price Experience feature

Run the Feature Data Update guide manually if it didn’t start automatically

If that doesn’t work, try running Job Queue Entry for object ID 2614 that’s been known to trigger the missing update process

Once the data update finishes, the feature should switch from “Pending” to “Enabled” and you’ll be able to start using the new pricing tools

Hello,

The Pending Data Update message means the new pricing feature needs its data conversion. Open Feature Management, select New sales pricing experience, and run Start Data Update to finish setup.
