How to remove Attribute mapping and incorporate the same in solution?

Hi,

I need to remove mapped attribute from contact entity which have been mapped with Account entity and need to deploy same at client place.

After removing these mapping fields from my Dev environment, I added Contact and Account entity in a solution and imported it into Test environment as a manage solution. But these change is not getting reflected into test environment and all attribute mappings are unchanged in Test environment.

Any thoughts or suggestion on this?

    Hello Chirag;

    This is completely by design; the solutions won't remove things in an environment. It will never delete a field or chart or dashboard or even change a mapping in an environment.

     

    In this scenario you'd have to remove it from the clients test environment as well.
