Microsoft still doesn't seem to get that many clients need to add large comments on documents - especially invoices.  The 4 lines of item or document comments are just not enough and the field does not grow at all with the formatted documents and the text documents are ugly.  It does not look like the word docs allow for this either since they are still using Report Writer logic.  Has anyone come up with a really good solution to this problem.

    Wendy,

    We have had success modifying the forms to include more of the comments (Customer Source KB articles related to this).  You could also setup an Inventory Item Id of NOTES.  You probably want to setup as a Misc Charge type.  You could have multiple NOTES line items that follow the billable line item.
