I am using Microsoft Dynamics GP 12.0. Anyone please suggest how i can see Balance sheet and profit & loss report.
1. Where we can see Balance sheet and Profit & loss report inside
2. Any option to access Balance sheet and Profit & loss from SSRS report?

Thank you so much for your valuable time and information.
Yes these are inbuilt reports that I just deployed into SSRS report server URL.
DB Procs and Reports are ready made and We found Query in executing within minutes but rendering reports taking too much time sometime getting connection timeout.
I also referred ExecutionLog3 table and getting TimeDataRetrieval,TimeProcessing values but TimeRendering is 0 with status either rsProcessingAborted or rsReportServerDatabaseError.
Seems SSRS report rendering taking too much time not DB process, Some suggest might be memory issue. but our server have 1TB RAM with lot of HDD.

Hi Padam,
Are these custom built SSRS Financial Reports you have deployed? If you are aggregating the financials properly the performance should be very good. I am happy to take a look at your dataset query and give you some recommendations if you want.
Also, if you need to verify it is the database query is what takes so long you can view detailed breakdowns in the ExecutionLog3 table on the ReportServer database. The key fields to look at are TimeDataRetrieval, TimeProcessing, and TimeRendering. These store in there for ~3 months.

Hi Andrew,
I Deployed SSRS Reports In Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013, and Inbuilt financial reports are accessing like trail balance, journals etc from report manger URL.
But its taking too much time. its too slow even for one month report taking 10-15 mins.
Please help me out, How to improve performance.

Actually client need separate reports of BS and P&L like trail balance details and summery.

Padam all the standard reports for GP are in the reports section for each series such as financials or sales.
So to see a trial balance you need to go to Financials > Reports > Trial Balance , you have the option of summary or detail. This will produce the standard style trial balance that comes with the system. If you have not used it before I suggest you use the help function on the window as it will explain the different fields and filters that can be used.
If you want to use the SSRS version of the trial balance then if you go to financials and then on the left hand menu tree you will see an option for Reporting services reports , this will populate the pane with the financial series of reporting service reports , select the trial balance and use the view option.
As for a profit and loss report , there is not really one out of the box, for this most people write/tailor their own reports in management reporter.
