In order to fill out the 1096 I need the physical count of 1099s (MISC in this case) printed and the total $ amount. For the life of me I am not finding where this information is? I really hope that I don't have to physically count and add up these amounts but so far have been unable to find direction in help files/forums. We are on GP2010.

There are two print buttons on the Print 1099s window. The one on the left will print the 1099 forms. The printer icon on the right will print an edit list that will give you your grand totals at the bottom (number of vendors and total dollar amount).
