Why did the printed check register change?

Posted on by 55

Last week after posting checks our AP staff printed the Payables Computer Check Register - Multicurrency Mgmt but today after posting checks the Computer Check Register - Payables Mgmt printed.  Does anyone have thoughts on why the change to a different report?

    Hello,

    Thanks for using the forums.

Dale has it right. If you go to Microsoft Dynamics GP menu >> Tools >> Setup >> Posting >> Posting and select Purchasing for a series, and Computer Checks for an Origin, you will see that the 'Include Multicurrency Info' option is not marked. When this option is marked the MC reports will print for posting reports on transaction of the origin selected.

Go to administration and go to your Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports and see whether something changed.  Look at all Products>>Reports then the PM Check Register.  See if you had a modified or GP standard report.  Or did you load a new product into Great Plains and it reverted back?

My only thought is could someone have changed the setup?  I would check the setup for purchasing found under Tools>Setup>Posting>Posting for the Purchasing series and the origin of computer checks.
