Hello experts,
I wanted to do an advanced find query and it is a complex one with many related entities in play.
It is all working well except that I wanted to display a column from a 2nd level related entity but it's not possible OOB.
So I'm trying to use View Designer by adding the attribute to the table to solve the issue. In the live preview it seems to be working fine and I get all the desired results. However after saving it to CRM and trying to run it, I get an error message and it won't work.
Did anyone have a similar experience or an idea about how to solve this? Any tip could be inspiring.
Thanks
Hikmat

You are correct - CRM is not able to link properly this field with the current view. If its not allowed/possible in the UI , if you try to insert using other tool - it might insert but will not recognize and give you this generic error.
Limitation of CRM.
I'm pretty sure it's there. But it says it has been deleted.
Could it mean that the field is not recognized in the system? Although in View designer, I did not write the field's name myself, I chose it from a dropdown list. And it worked in the preview as I mentioned above.
please hover on that and check what is the message
When I check the columns, I notice that it does not recognize the added attribute as correct:
