    Hi CRM,

You can write a java script code for checking the status has been changed to "Pause" along with the "modified by" is yes then you can capture that date time and Modified by User name in a text field that will be hidden field on form, and lets say again if some one changes the status to "In Progress" you can get that time and on that basis you can calculate the date time difference and also you will get Modified By user.

You can also do it with workflow.

Step 1 Create 4 field Date1, Date2, Time Difference and Modified User(When status was pause)

Step2 Check if status of case is "Paused" then update Date1 field with current date and time (Ref link : crmbusiness.wordpress.com/.../crm-2013-workflow-to-set-the-current-date-and-time) and also update Modified User field by Modified By field.

Step 3 : Check if again status of case changes from "Paused to InProgress" if yes then again check if (Date1 ) field contain data then you can update Date 2 field with current date.

Step 4: Get the time difference in workflow and update Time Difference field  (refer : community.dynamics.com/.../calculating-the-number-of-days-between-two-dates-with-workflow)
