Limitations for the number of threads in server configuration

Hi DAX Consultants,

Recently, I had a scenario on the batch parallelism. Thats developed and worked fine. I used default thread settings.

Do we have any limitation in setting the number of threads in the server configuration? If yes, what are they?

    Hi in administration-> server configuration-> batch server schedule you could specify the maximun batch threads and the time when them are avaiable

    Hi Daniele,

    Thanks for your reply. Since, its a int field it can take 10 digit values as well.

    Do we any other drawback, setting threads to max value or its up to the user?

    Hi Pradeep, probably I don't understand correctly but the limit it's related to the number of core of your AOS server.

    I haven't experience about this but you could setup a batch queue in more than one server so you could use the core of more than one AOS server.
