Transport Days & Intercompany Transactions

We are having trouble figuring out how transport days & delivery date controls work with intercompany transactions that go through master planning, are transport days considered during this process? We have found that the 2nd and maybe 3rd part of an order chain has the delivery date control field as /none/ when the original has /sales order lead time/ and it's set that way in each company on that item, but also transport days don't add up.

How does this work with intercompany sales order transactions also?

Ex: Company A Sales order > intercompany Purchase order > Company B Sales order
