How to create a read-only role internal team to access GL and underlying transactions in read-only mode.

Hi,
Have a look at the guest user and finance manager roles that seem to come close to your points listed above.
You might have to modify those roles though because they might have more rights than the ones you listed.

A reference of the existing AX2012 security roles can be found here:
docs.microsoft.com/.../security-role-reference
Please check especially the last link to see what standard role comes closest to your requirements.
If you found it, create a copy and modify it as needed.
