Hi All,

Is there a way that allow me to create a purchase quote without creating a Vendor card?

I noticed that for the sales process it's possible to create a sales quote using a custumer template, is there not a similar functionality in the purchase process?

I dont think so.

you can create a dummy vendor as an alternative.

No, it is not possible, as by default many options (including discounts) are client- and vendor-dependent. As Mohana suggested, you can use one dummy vendor for creating purchase quotes that you do not want to be Vendor-specific.

Hi,

no there isn't the same way to treat Purchase Quotes as Sales Quotes. If you're still selecting the supplier, you'll need to create all of them as Vendors or keep it off the system and use NAV when you have actually decided to work with the selected supplier.
