Generate report on service order

How can we print out a service order report after it has been invoiced and the service order doesn’t exist anymore? We want to print out the service order to show the service history of the service item.

    Unfortunately once the service order is fully posted it gets deleted (similar to a sales order) so its not possible to print it anymore. At this point you can print the posted invoice that was created, or look at the service item. The service item has several pages that can perhaps be useful for you i.e. the service ledger entries under history, or the documents section

    Hi, just to share the latest information, the following new feature will be released in Business Central 2024 release wave 2 (BC25) in October. You can check this historical information in the Archive later.

    If the service order is deleted after posting, you can print the posted invoice or review the service item's history and documents for the relevant details.
