I'm enrolled in a class where one of our final projects is to create a custom model-driven app for a hypothetical large company with enterprise, small business, and private individual clients in video game system sales and repair. I was assigned to the Marketing Team, but we can't get started because we don't have access to any of the tools. The other three teams- Field Service, Sales, and Customer Service- have access to all of their environments.
1) Does adding Sales Trial or Marketing Trial to the solution where our app is give us any additional access to components like Segments or Customer Journeys? We are struggling to build a custom model-driven app that allows for marketing-specific functionalities.
2) Can we use 365 Marketing functionalities like Customer Journeys and Segments within a custom model-driven application?
3) We don't have Marketing in our project environment and can't find how to do it.
4) Does it change anything if we're using the free trials?
Sorry if these questions are really basic, but we've only had a week or so of instruction in Dynamics and we're all kind of overwhelmed.
