BC140 After Paste from Excel, values in Lines change

Hi all,

My client is using Business Central on-premise (BC14) and it cannot paste data in Lines in Sales Credit Memo correctly.
When pasted data from Excel into Lines and then click another line or cell, pasted values change. It is like the quantity goes to 0 and descriptions become the default value. The default means the original value from item master.

I'd like to find the cause of this issue. Does anyone meet the same problem?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

We have not yet heard about this behavior. What build or CU are you running with.  Does this also happen in standard CRONUS company?

    Thanks.

    Hi Marco,

    Thank you for your reply.

The BC is version W1 14.1 on-premise, not Saas. The users cannot use Saas.

I don't test it in CRONUS company. I will test it in CRONUS.

The way I produced this behavior is:

Copying the data from Excel and then pasting the data and deleted it, repeatedly.

It is like finding something wrong in the data, then deleted it, created the new/revised data, copied it, and pasted it to the Lines in Sales Credit Memo.

    Thank you

    Hello,

I did ran the scenario in CRONUS company (BC140 W1, latest CU).

    1. start WinClient

    2. search for Sales Credit Memo

    3. create New

    4. go to lines and add one line

    5. open in Excel

6 copy first line and multiply

    7. copy all lines and import to Sales Credit Memo via Paste Rows

    8. delete the copied data

    9 repeat a few times

    This is the result.

I assume you are doing something else, but it does make sense to test in latest CU 14.18 instead of 14.1.That would be my first start.

    Thanks.

    Thank you, Marco!

It was very helpful for me.

Though I tested this "copy and paste and delete" in CRONUS company of the client environment in several times, I haven't met this issue.

I will check it again then talk to the person who is responsible to this project.

    Thanks, again.

    Regards,
