How did you renamed the system database?
Have you followed the steps mentioned from the KB article 878449?
Also have a look on the below link.
blogs.msdn.com/.../using-the-named-system-database-feature-for-microsoft-dynamics-gp-2013.aspx
Hope this helps!!!
The issue started after we migrated from GP 2010 to GP 2013 and started hosting all the GP instance on asingle instance of SQL 2012(GP 2013 we renamed all the DYNAMICS db with Prefixing 3 letters of their organization name followed by DYN. (eg..ABCDYN ).
Any update on this?
What does a Dexsql.log show?
Hi leodwin
Make sure all the users are under DYNGRP role.
go into SQL Management Studio and add the corresponding SQL login to the DYNGRP in the DYNAMICS database.
Hi Nataraj,
The user gets this error after login. once the home screen loads.
I tried to delete the user and recreate but still the issue is reappearing.
Thanks
i did query this table and could not locate any blank record. I dont know to identify a damaged record.
Hi leodwin,
can you specify the point of error occurrence?
Hi Leodwin,
Look at table SY01403 in your Dynamics database and check for a blank or damaged record.
Kind regards,
Leslie
