How to recreate EES Pdf files

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Our payroll process had gotten corrupt and caused duplicate entries in few tables. we fixed that issue by going into SQL. That issue has been resolved however, the pdf that were created in the original process were corrupted and are blank. how can I re-create the pdf's?? I can go to the test company and use an older backup then redo the payroll but that is not preferred as it will take more time I think. any ideas?

At this time what is the status of the payroll records for the employees?

    How many employees are there?

If the status of the payroll records is that they are complete and that the status of the employee file is that they are also complete and correct.  Then the only option you might have to re-send the Payroll records via PDF is if there a report that you can run that is similar to the PDF you are trying to send.

I get that the 'restore' and recreate in TEST might not be the prefered way, but depending on the number of employees it might be the fastest and least prone to error.

    Let us know.

Sorry to have to ask - US or Canadian Payroll?

Are you simply looking to recreate the reports that were damaged?
