When will the data be line break in SSRS report automatically.

Dear all,

I have customized the changes TransTxt EDT(String length: 60→500) in D365FO.

When I run Vendor transactions report, the Description column will be line break if I input the length of Description shortly (about 60 characters).

But I input about 500 character for Description, it is unable to line break automatically in Vendor transactions report. 

I don't know what is the line break of specification in SSRS report?

Could you please let me know the line break of specification in SSRS report in D365FO?

    Do you mean this field?

    In fact, I haven't seen the line break of specification.

    It should display length 60,  it;s from GeneralJournalAccountEntry.text, EDT is TransactionTextLarge, and the defined field length is 512.

    You probably looking for "Sizing options" in SSRS

    Yes, it is not break the line in Voucher transactions.

    But you see the line break in Voucher transactions report.

    The vendor transactions report is set canGrow=True, canShrink=False.

    Could you please tell me about the rules for the line break?

    Is it manage from SSRS report?

    Hi HOA,

    Yes, it's property for certain control in the SSRS report desing. You can choose any text control, open context menu and select "Text box properties" and on the "General" tab you will see "Sizing options".
