Journal Posting for end user restriction

Hi all,

I have a question in AX 2009 in section Journal posting in Inventory Management.

In our ERP Module End users creating a journals (Movement/counting) by their own.

But i need to block the post option (post button) for end users and allow only authorized persons to give rights for posting the journals.

I have two question...

1) How to block user not post the journals.(By Hide Post button)

2) Is there any workflow to make authorized person(concern dept heads) getting notification about creation of journals and they have option to post the journals with their knowledge.

Please anyone right solution for that

    1) can be controlled by standard AX 2009 Security.

    2) there is no workflow for inventory module in AX 2009. you have to create a customized workflow if you want so. in fact till today AX 2012 (R3 CU9), there is no workflow for inventory journals. I am not sure if its Available in CU10. in short no inventory journal workflow for standard ax. you have to customize it.

    Hi,

    You can control this through User groups and its permissions.

    Also to send notification on creation - You can create Alerts rules.

    Apart from Inventory Journals, Is there any other Journal Posting Workflow method in Ax2009.

    Regarding this point : 1> can be controlled by standard AX 2012 Security.

    how can i prevent the user from posting his created journal and also other journal

    and give access only for certain user
