Good Day Dynamics Community,

In D365 F&O on a Purchase requisition our client is getting the following workflow error:

Stopped (error): Cannot edit a record in Expense forecast (ProjForecastCost).
An update conflict occurred due to another user process deleting the record or changing one or more fields in the record.

Has anyone seen this error before and know of a fix?

Is the PR related to a project?

Is there any difference with other normal PR?

You need to contact a technical support to debug this error.

Hi KDS,

The error suggests that the record system is trying to update has been modified in another transaction scope. By the looks of it, seems like you are trying to create PR for a project and system is trying to create an expense forecast for the same. I am assuming there must be some customization which is updating the specific record and there is an issue with it being updated already in the course of execution.

Any which ways, you will need a developer to have a look at code sequence to pinpoint root cause.

FYI.. I dont see this error in standard demo environment

This PR is related to a project and we contacted Microsoft, but somehow the user was able to make a correction that worked.
